Fall 2008 Mustangs

Tim Halloran, First Year Head Coach for the Men's Program at Portage Central and Varsity Assistant Andrew Rice, will gear up the Mustangs to attempt a repeat as SMAC Central Division Champs and hope to get back the SMAC Championship.  The Division I Portage Central team brings eleven seniors that have the experience it takes to lead the squad of talented players on the pitch.  PC opens with the Saline Hornet Classic, come home to the Portage Invitational and ready up for tough non-conference matches and the SMAC league. The Mustangs finished the 2007 year with a record of 9 - 8 - 3.

Spring 2009 Lady Mustangs

PC Coaches Pat Norman and Christie Tarpley have high expectations for the 2009  PC women's team. Central returns five seniors to lead the squad.  The Mustangs will  to attempt to capture the SMAC Conference title.  Portage Central returns with a talented young team and is excited for the new additions.  The 2008 team was co-champs of the SMAC, District Champions, Regional Champions and ended their season in the state semi-finals.   The Mustangs posted a record of 19-4-2.  The 2009 team will work to accomplish all of last years successes and aspire to even larger goals.  Good Luck Lady Mustangs!
